Appreciation is Sweet!

Today was a pretty good day. I am the "Newbie" here and I have struggled a fair bit. The people here have been great. They have taught me a lot.

One of the other programmers, a senior programmer/analyst, is really focused. She knows a ton. She has probably forgot more than I will ever learn. She has such a vast store of knowledge that I will admit I am a little bit intimidated. Heck, I’m kinda scared. Seriously though I look up to her. I am very glad she’s on my side.

Here’s what happened today. We had implemented a "search" function. A user was doing a name search on FREDDY’S and getting a SELECTOR ERROR. We tried to replicate the error and typed in FREDDY which worked. I suggested "just for giggles" put the apostrophe in. That was the bug.

"Good one Charlie! " She exclaimed. It sure feels good when you get one right!
